Performing helicopter maintenanceFour Years After RHTC Program Nationalization, Cambridge Still Supporting Partner Nations In Countering Global Threats

Four years ago, Cambridge completed the nationalization of the Colombian Regional Helicopter Training Center (RHTC) Support Services program. We supported the Colombian Military (COLMIL) in building up their national helicopter maintenance, logistics, and training capabilities to efficiently and effectively manage a range of OH-58 and TH-67 helicopter services autonomously. This work was labeled as SOUTHCOM’s “flagship” program, and an aggressive three-year timeline mandated that the nationalization occur in 2019. Our team leveraged their extensive counternarcotics (CN) mission experience, CN-specific aviation experience, in-country logistics capability, and in-country resources to successfully transition the RHTC mission responsibilities in-country on-time and within the schedule promised at kickoff. The nationalization marked a major milestone in Cambridge’s mission to assist the United States Government and Partner Nations in developing their own security capacities.

We are proud of the impact our support and the RHTC program has continued to have on Colombian CN efforts and the critical role these capabilities play in both U.S. and Colombian national security. Cambridge continues to provide the COLMIL and other Partner Nations with CN and security cooperation support to counter global threats.
