Network Security Engineering
Trust Built In from the Beginning
Data and Infrastructure Protection
Aligning security strategies with mission objectives, Cambridge evaluates network design and architecture to ensure that security is an integral consideration. We perform security hardening and rule creation for new firewalls, switches, routers and other network equipment, including reviewing and re-evaluating existing configuration settings and rules. We assess and provide recommendations for the secure configuration of server, storage, backup, network appliance system infrastructure, operating systems, middleware, and applications. We maintain an in-depth awareness of the customer’s IT Enterprise Cybersecurity Architecture.
Cybersecurity Engineering
We offer flexible, scalable, and responsive engineering, assessing and implementing new IT security concepts and technologies. We integrate new systems with existing ones, perform IT operations and sustaining engineering, perform studies, develop plans, and resolve complex or specialized issues.
Risk Assessment and Management
We identify evaluate, and mitigate vulnerabilities in the design and architecture of a network, including the potential risks associated with different components. We also incorporate encryption, access control, intrusion detection and other security measures.
Customer-focused Engineering
We define formal requirement specifications and develop operations concepts and designs based on customer needs. Our work includes setting performance and availability requirements, maintenance processes, operations monitoring, incident response procedures, and disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
ICS 705-1 Compliant Systems Integration
We integrate multiple communication systems and applications including decision support tools, video teleconferencing, and other collaboration tools within secure environments that meet exacting Intelligence Community Standards.
