Cambridge Awarded Subcontract to Provide Operations and Maintenance of the Puerto Rico Area Wideband System (PRAWS)
Cambridge has been awarded a subcontract to continue supporting the operations and maintenance of the Defense Information Systems Network Agency (DISA) Puerto Rico Area Wideband System (PRAWS). As a subcontractor to the Global Asset Technologies (GAT), Cambridge will support the PRAWS integrated network which provides internet protocol and digital switched voice, video teleconferencing and data services for a range of Defense and Homeland Security department users and local clients, including the U.S. Army, Navy, Coast Guard and Air National Guard and Federal Aviation Administration.
Cambridge will ensure reliable, continuous DISA network services in Puerto Rico, St. Croix, St. Thomas and the US Virgin Islands. DISA Network Services enable users to support a variety of missions, including customs and border patrol, commercial and military aviation coordination, and Army National Guard support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
