UH-1H Helicopter and EngineCambridge Awarded SOUTHCOM EL Salvador UH-1H Engines and Support Delivery Order

Cambridge, a proven aviation services, logistics, and training provider, has been awarded a delivery order to provide UH-1H helicopter engines, spare parts, technical manuals, and FSR support in El Salvador. The $5.12M contract award was made under the Air Combat Command (ACC) Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC) Counter Narcotics And Global Threats (CN&GT) IDIQ. The period of performance is one base year, ending on September 29, 2021, plus three option years.

As part of this effort, Cambridge will provide the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) with support to the maintenance and sustainment of all UH-1H helicopters assigned to the El Salvadorian Air Force. Cambridge’s certified subject matter expert will assist the El Salvadorian Air Force personnel in identifying and conducting proper procedures for inspections, testing, troubleshooting, servicing, and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance repairs. This will include technical assistance to resolve difficult or unusual maintenance problems. Our team will also provide expertise in establishing supply procedures for procuring aircraft spares and repair of aircraft parts, inventory management, provisioning, distribution, and methods for ordering materials and spare parts. Cambridge’s support will focus on servicing and training to bolster the in-country helicopter maintenance capability.

Cambridge’s extensive CN mission experience, CN-specific aviation experience, in-country logistics capability, and in-country resources will enable us to deliver outstanding mission support and help position the El Salvadorian Air Force to efficiently and effectively maintain their fleet.
