The Air Combat Command (ACC) Acquisition Management And Integration Center (AMIC) has awarded Cambridge an 11-month, $802k delivery order to support SOUTHCOM and CENTCOM end customers in their Security Cooperation mission to assist Partner Nations (PNs) Colombia and Uzbekistan in reducing and eliminating drug trafficking and narco-terrorism. Cambridge will help strengthen PN capabilities and increase professionalism, procuring equipment to support the Colombian Military (COLMIL) Advanced Rotary Wing Training Center and Uzbekistan Border Guard’s river patrol boat programs. This is Cambridge’s 10th award under the Counter-Narcotics and Global Threats (CN&GT), Operations and Logistics (Ops and Log), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

“Both the Colombia Rotary Wing Aviation School House and Uzbekistan River Patrol Boat programs play critical roles in their respective country’s national security and counternarcotics efforts. Cambridge is proud to receive this award, which gives us another way to expand our support to the counternarcotics mission. In the case of the SOUTHCOM equipment, the procured items will eventually be put into use by Cambridge personnel currently supporting the Tolemaida Rotary Wing Aviation Maintenance Training Academy (CEAAR), so this award allows Cambridge to support the full lifecycle of that program from procurement through implementation.” said Elizabeth Germanos Buker, General Manager and Senior Director of the Cambridge COCOMs and Joint Solutions Group.

Cambridge’s experience supporting the CN&GT mission area dates back to our first contract, more than 25 years ago. Our continuous dedication to this mission on both the current CN&GT Ops and Logs contract as well as the predecessor Counter Narco-Terrorism Program Office (CNTPO) IDIQ has allowed us the opportunity to support every combatant command (CCMD) as well as the Department of Defense (DoD), Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) CN&GT, Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA), Service Components, Major Commands, and subordinate organizations.
